Spot the 7 mistakes: Malaysian Tourism

Can you spot the mistakes in the picture below?

I can hear you thinking:
did the SkinnyCook forget to put the right picture to compare with?

Unfortunately, there is no right picture. This is how it is: another Malaysian cultural heritage clock tower at the verge of disappearance in the so called modernity of little towns. In other words: loosing identity for concrete.

Malaysia has a very cozy Chinese and colonial heritage: old houses that are just something all European and UK tourists will flock to. And isn’t tourism number 1 or number 2 when it comes to Malaysia’s income?

Then what is wrong? The only thing wrong is that who-ever is making decisions about tourism is not doing things right. I agree: destroy the tower, put a shopping complex there and start earning money. But… why would any tourist come to yet another shopping complex when there are already so many good shopping complexes out there? I mean, why would I go to a tiny shopping complex when I can stroll around for hours in a big one?
