So I invite all of you who does some traveling and or some cooking, has fingers that want to desperately write words on a keyboard and if possible have a picture with the story: please leave a comment here or better: register yourself and become a co-author. What’s in it for you? You become instantly famous
Leave a comment and I will find you (please add email-address or email to stef2k [at] yahoo.com with subject: I want to participate at the Skinny Cook!

I am fighting a high cholesterol and I want to lose some weight (10 pounds only) so how do I do it? Eat less yes, but less of what?
To help me out I surfed the net and found this free calorie counter plus a food database where I can see which food contains how much calories. Free, fast and easy!
You fill in your height, age, weight, how many times you work out a week (me have a zero there…) and how much weight you want to loose, click calculate and there it says how many calories, carbs, fat and proteins you can eat a day (1290 they told me, that happens if you put the workout on zero…).
How does that translate to food? You go to the Calories in Food page and type in let’s say French fries. You get a list of all kinds of French fries and it seems that I can trench my daily dose of calories just by ordering 2 McDonalds Large French fries… Luckily they have over 6000 other food items in their Calories in Food database to get you a more balanced diet
What’s even more great: you can also calculate how much calories you can burn by choosing the exercise of your choice!
Best is that you can even sign up for free and make your own personalised diet plan plus meeting fellow dieting members in the forums.
