Oh yes there are! You can find 2 star hotels at cheap hotels in London from GBP 15! What do you get for 2 stars? You will still have the privacy of your own room, hotels have a better location than the pay per bed hostels and they are easier to find than the more expensive bed and breakfasts.
Talking about location: why not spend a night in famous Baker Street to find out why it was so inspiring for Gerry Rafferty to write a whole song about it.
Get even more extra’s when you look for the last minute deals! Not only in the capital of England, but all over in Great Britain. Personally I would love again one day to stroll around in the capital of Scotland: again cheap hotels in Edinburgh start from GBP 15 onwards! Only 1 star this time, so seems the real value for money has to be found at cheap hotels in London.

I was at Alexis: a Bistro Bar thingy at Great Eastern in Kuala Lumpur. Normally I go there for the luscious big continental breakfast, but now I thought: let’s have nasi lemak dinner.
Seems in the evening there is hardly any electricity available: the place is dark. Must be a romantic thing or just plain saving energy…
Until the chicken came: black because it is dark or black because it is burned? Oh says the waiter: let me take that back to the kitchen, our cook must have been using black oil….
Black oil haaaa???? You mean the one he just found under his car or what?
For the amount of money you pay at Alexis, one would think they should have the decency to use good oil always, not after a client complains…
