What I love about the Internet is that you can order almost anything online what normally would be quite impossible to get. Ok, nothing is impossible: but I do remember how people stuffed their bag to bring special things back home which they would otherwise not be able to transport.
In the case of buying kopi luwak coffee, even if you visit Indonesia (read: More about Sulawesi coffee beans): chance is big you wont find it when you are in a place that only caters for tourists. So it’s great to be able to even buy kopi luwak online. It saves on raring your own palm civet cat

Ok, if I was a bad marketing person, I would ask you: would you give a penny for coffee beans that already have been eaten and after that excreted by a civet cat? Hmmm, no takers?
If I was a good marketing manager: how much would you give to experience the exclusive taste of a few rare coffee beans that got an extra fermentation inside the body of a civet cat before roasting? Yes, this explains the distinct not green colour of the un-roasted kopi luwak coffee beans…
Well: a pound of Kopi Luwak coffee will cost you about $300, or about $50 a cup. You better come to Sulawesi yourself to harvest the beans if you want to save money on drinking exclusive coffees
