Edible flowers recipes
As a follow up post about my Hibiscus Edible Flowers in Greece and a reaction about a cookingdiva making soup using Garden Nasturtium Edible Flowers, let me add also an edible flowers recipes for soup.
Simple Indian Cress soup recipe
Cut 2 onions - Remove the stems from the leaves of the Garden Nasturtium (Indian Cress), cut the stems in pieces and add to the onions
- Brown the onions in butter with the Indian Cress on a low fire
- Meanwhile cut the leaves in small pieces and add to the onion and stems
- Add chicken stock, boil (mix if needed) and add salt and pepper to taste
- Serve with Garden Nasturtium flower in the soup
