Thai Red Curry Paste : so easy and delicious, how to get it? Our easiest way is to send a friend to the market place to buy it for us :-)... OK, this is when you live in South-East Asia.

Another crude, very simple but for sure less delicious Curry Paste Recipe is to take curry-powder, add water and lime-juice until it becomes a paste.

Yet for a more authentic Thai cooking taste, use one of the following recipes for Thai red curry paste:


INGREDIENTS : Thai red chicken curry

  • half a chicken (cut in bite-size pieces)
  • 4 tablespoons red curry paste
  • half a cup water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 8 curry leaves


PREPARATION : Thai red chicken curry

  1. thai red chicken curryHeat the oil in a frying pan
  2. Add Thai Red Curry Paste and curry leaves and heat for 1 minute
  3. Add chicken and stir for 4 minutes
  4. Add water and simmer for half an hour.
  5. If to much water, take out chicken and boil rest until gravy is thick. Ideal moment to see whether your chicken is cooked well or not.
  6. Serve with love :-) (and a cool drink...)
